Catalina Trip

Students will be going to the Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI) on October 27 - October 29, 2025.

There are three available payment methods for this trip:

1. Pay with a check for $390.00 made out to "Friends of the Open School Inc" and send with your child to school. Include your child's name in the notes section. (Please remember the Inc. for the check payee.)
2. Pay with Zelle for $390.00 at email address friends_treasurer@opencharter.org. Please take a screenshot of the confirmation and email it to your teacher's cluster email and friends_treasurer@opencharter.org. Include your child's name in the email.
3. Pay here using your credit card. The credit card option will incur a 3% convenience fee.

If you are paying here using your credit card, please select from the following options:

1. One payment of $401.70 (This includes the $390 registration fee, plus the 3% convenience fee of $11.70).
2. Two payments of $200.85 (This includes the $195 registration fee, plus the 3% convenience fee of $5.85), due September and February.
3. Four payments of $100.43 (This includes the $97.50 registration fee, plus the 3% convenience fee of $2.93), due September, November, February and the final payment due no later than April 6, 2026.
4. Five payments of $80.34 (This includes the $78 registration fee, plus the 3% convenience fee of $2.35), due every month, with the final payment due no later than April 6, 2026.

Scholarships are available for students that need them. Fill out the registration paperwork that was sent home with your student if you need to request a scholarship. Scholarships will not be processed on this site.

If you would like to make a donation to our scholarship fund, you can do so here. Remember that a 3% convenience fee will be taken out of your donation, so it is more efficient to provide your donation via check if that is possible.
